This is probably going to open a can of worms, but here it goes.
I am writing my final essay for my ethics course on the use of e-collars for training gun dogs. I am wondering where people stand.
Recently there was an article posted here about Wales banning the use of "shock collars." Has anyone read any other articles or reports on the use of e-collars? Aside from the obvious, what are some of the arguments for and against? Have there been any studies with hard data of a positive or negative mental or physical effects?
I am hoping there's at least a few people willing to help an almost finished (cross my fingers) college student.
