I will have to say that I'm impressed with this breed. At 52# I wasn't sure of their ability on geese, until this morning while hunting. He handled every one of the 9 geese we shot today.
Needless to say it was a joy watching him work.

yeah that is a nice breed...the smaller ones can surprise you..i have a buddy who has child with very severe allergies and so he got a really nice Lagotto...boy what a pistol of a water dog...naturally size does matter to some extent but heart of the smaller dogs can accomplish a lot.

He is a very nice looking toller too. He dug out a winged bird in a standing cornfield at 200 yards.

Who was the Toller?

His name is Riker. Not sure where he's from, I do know he was shipped to him.

Ill post a picture of him tomorrow my camera cord is at work.

I judged a toller working test once and was very impressed with the dogs. The dogs had the natural instincts and were very trainable/worked wel with their owners. If anything, I don't think the owners appreciated the working ptotential of their dogs.

I would consider getting one someday,

Tom
