I am very green when it comes to these newfangled duck boats. Purchased a 2007 legend craft 1848 today. Boat is solid, galvanized trailer looks good. Usual wear and tear on both. Paid 2,200.00 I hope I got a decent deal.
Thoughts on a motor? Would like to get a surface drive, but haven't ruled out a long tail. Need basic pros and cons. Long tail is much cheaper! This will be hunted primarily in the Ca Delta, and is usually my third option. It won't see a a lot of action. Trying to do this "on the cheap" Thanks for the input.
