Most times that I click on a post in the forum, it appears quickly enough, but then displays the end of the post on the first page.
Then I have to return to the top to begin reading there.
I think this has been going on since the switch to the new software.

I'm using IE 6 as my browser on an Win XP Home, SP 2 system and it is current with updates.

If this something others have also noticed, or perhaps your self?

Can anything be done to solve this? Is anyone else having this problem?

THANKS!

JS,
Thanks, but I didn't see anything that describes the problem that I'm having.

Steve,

I'm clicking on the thread title.

The other thing I've noticed is that sometimes when I click on the thread title is that it DOES go to the top of the thread. But it seems the majority of the time it goes to the end of the thread.

Another thing; Sometime the top of the thread will come up long enough for me to see it, then the screen will flash and I'll be looking at the bottom.

Vicky,

I must not be combing my hair correctly. Who knows?
Very strange situation.

Yes I do, and I might add, "all of it"! Although grayer than the last time you saw it.

On the subject of my post...

I did change the views to display the newest first; it did so. Then I changed it back to display the oldest first. It did so for 3 or 4 thread views, the switched back, on it's own, to displaying the newest thread first.
It has done this all morning.
When I view other sites, it always displays the oldest first, so I suspect a "glitch" somewhere here.
There have been no updates to IE here, and I have made no changes to anything that would effect how threads are displayed.

Steve,

Possibly, but I have not especially paid attention to that. But I will and report back to you.
I did notice that the threads I visited this Am were all new threads and all worked correctly.
I have noticed that threads with few responses "seem" to work correctly, and threads with many responses "seem" to be failing.

I just noticed something similar if I've been to a thread before. VB will remember that I've been there and whenever I click on the thread title, it takes me to the first new post in that thread.

Any chance this is what you're seeing?
Steve,

I just tested this, and you are correct... if I've been there before it will jump to the last post in the thread.

Steve,

I just tested again on this very thread; I clicked on page 2 and it displayed the first thread on page 2, and sat there.
Just a few minutes ago, it did jump to the last post.

Steve,

I just tried it again, and clicked on this thread, page 2. It displayed the first post on page 2 for about 3-5 seconds, then jumped to the last post, then I entered this post.
