I was sitting here doing the RTF thing when I heard all my dogs start raising heck. Went outside to see what was the matter as they are usually quiet. Turns out one of my hen Mallards had gotten out of the duck pen and my five week old pups had her surrounded and were plucking her feather by feather. :D I like to let them just roam around the house when they are little to just explore. When I got over laughing I finally went and rescued Susie. Now I have to figure out how to get the little buggers to leave the ducks alone... til they are bigger.;-) My biggest regret is I did not garb a camera ....what a pic that would have made.

Boy what a busy bunch !!! Left them alone for a while and went back out and they have absolutely destroyed my wife's gladiolas.:( Drug my water hose all across the yard ;)and one was even trying to figure a way into the duck pen. A couple of others were stalking my pigeon coop. I fixed the problem JAILED them..........LOL This is a 3 peat breeding and all of the litters have been inquisitive and BOLD. This is the first with 8 FEMALES though. It seems that the females have been like this in the previous litters also. The guys are slower maturing. Boy its a lot of fun having a litter like this.. They have been all over my 2 acre yard and haven't been intimidated by anything.
