Just wondering about your opinions on the throw rings used at the NARC this year? Apparently some people are not thrilled they were going to be used without everyone knowing they were going to be used. Here's a partial quote from someone on Facebook who wants some clarification on what the rulebook says about "natural hunting conditions" as it pertains to throw rings:
"I have attempted, so far unsuccessfully, to obtain clarity as it pertains to the use of “throw rings” in Trials which, for the uninitiated, are a man-made containment apparatus placed in the water to ensure that a bird thrown in the water doesn’t drift."
I believe they were attached to those drainage pipes you can see in one of the photos on the NARC blog?
These would be great to use to anchor several bumpers down a shore. Does anyone know how to make them?
