As some of you know I got a new camera, so I thought I would try it out. Enjoy!

Woodie playing superdog, getting his ball.

Timeout on the picnic table! Everytime I bent down to get to their level, it was game on, they were positive I wanted to play...

Thanks Christa and Whitefoot! LOL sometimes that camera is too smart for me! But I am getting more comfortable with it. I want to try some action shots but it is kind of hard with just me, by the time I throw whatever or send them remotely, I get the camera to my face they are back by me!

Here are some unsolicited tips: get low (kneel or sit on the ground) to get a good angle on your shot, use shutter priority w/shutter speed > 1/500, and use continuous drive mode (press the shutter button and hold it down to take multiple shots).

Thanks! I will try those out next time! I know it has burst, I used it before but what button to push to make it work??? Guess I will bring out the manual too! Lol Now shutter priority I am going to have to look up, I remember seeing it but not really sure. Getting on their level will be fun!! They love it when mom gets on the ground!

Thanks Suzimac! For the most part they are good boys! For Christmas a mutual friend is sending the 2nd photo to the breeder, she likes to keep close tabs on them.

Nice photo's what kind of camera did you get? One thing i would recommend is learning your camera and learn to shoot in the custom modes AV TV P ect. I mostly shoot in AV. Second get some good editing software, you can pick up some older photoshop elements for next to nothing, allmost all digital photo's can be enhanced a little by editing. Hope you dont mind but i was bored waiting for the callbacks so I tweeked a couple of your's.

Thanks Todd!! No I don't mind at all!! LOL I went from a p.h.d. (push here dummy)camera to this one a Sony Alpha 390 DT 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 SAM with zoom lense kit. I have no clue what any of it means after Alpha. I do know I want another zoom so I can get those far away field shots.
