we started seniors in the spring I was reasonably sure he would pass
we finished that fall with 5 out of 5 passes
we got better as we went along
we started master the following spring with minimal additional training...
so far we are clean for three passes but who knows what the last two will hold this spring
we just began brushing up our obedience work after hunting season and running some blinds...
we're getting better as we go along
no "right" age... when you think you and the dog can get it done, go for it. worse that can happen is to fail and expose some weaknesses to train on.
