Obviously, every breeder has different objectives. When I am breeding a litter, I figure my investment in the litter -- emotional, physical, and financial -- is so large that I'm going to use the best stud that I can afford. That will almost always mean a FC or AFC. If the dog were not already titled, it would have to be a dog that I knew personally, was sure would be titled soon, and where the pedigree was extremely strong. Obviously a lot of other factors would also need to be considered also before selecting a breeding.
