Sometimes doing the right thing means that you are being generous and by doing so, you are giving someone else pleasure.

Now if the someone is a person who really likes the dog and is excited about training him, I think that the above applies.

However, if the person who now has the dog could care less or is being paid to train the dog, perhaps, a new owner would be a better choice.
