Have purchased 4 of the stickmen from Lou MeGee and really like them.

Why are these things so dang expensive?!

Im gonna have to make a design for some, surely I could sell them for less than 60 bucks lol!
I don't know why stuff costs what it does, but whenever I try to go homemade it ends up costing me more!

I started a similar thread a year or two ago. I think I've been plagiarized .

I bought the Butch Green ones, I haven't looked back...

The Magee ones are nice, they weigh more.

:):):)

Being a guy rhat tries to make things for folks they cant buy elsewhere,, let me tell you,, If you figure your time making onesy twosy things,, it is very hard to make a profit, and feel that your effort is worthwhile.. It is VERY difficult.

What do you think an hour of your time is worth?

The guys that make these stick men prolly dont manufacture them on a TRULY production oriented basis. I wonder how many they actually sell in a year..

Do you think even if you had all the materials available and cut to specs, you could assemble one in an hour complete, then package it, and have it ready to ship?

Then after you answer,, lets talk about shipping costs. :):)

Try lou mcgee - good stuff- reasonably priced - a guy should make a profit ( i want a guy to make fair money dealing with me but i dont want him to retire off me. Do you think he could retire off a couple of stickmen)
Lou monogramed ours with our name so they dont run off as easy
Dk

I made two stickmen out of aluminum stock from Home Depot in about an hour or so. I have enought white liner material to make about 300 stickmen. It's old roofing stock that had a 20 year warranty.
