Crazy question but what's some of the oldest semen still frozen out there for future use? Seems like I still see some rascal breedings done and anothe Len Mac breeding just Happened. Have been some Aces High III last year and I've heardJim Swann may still have some Trumarcs Raider left. What's old stuff out there that's still available??

When you say Rascal who are you referring to ?

I believe he means NFC AFC Storm's Riptide Star. Marilyn commented a while back about still having availability.

Sorry to change the subject....

...But Bon, what's up with your signature "Executor of the Alanson C. Brown III Trust"? I can understand people putting their dogs or a quote, but I have never seen anyone in any forum publicly advertise they are serving as executor. Particularly when it has absolutely no bearing with respect to the underlying content of the site.

Weird. Just Sayin'....

Because people have been asking how did you get Lanse's dogs, and have been asking for permission to train on his properties

congrats on your litter you had with Ford that seems like it was a great litter.

So now that you have his dogs do you run field trials? I'm not asking for gps #'s but because I don't k ow where did lance live or train?
The dogs are in Idaho with my brother and are entered in a couple of upcoming trials, as soon as all the legal issues are finalized I hope to run a few trials myself or even relocate to one of the properties. Thanks for asking

Bon, I'm curious - how long has it been since you ran a field trial? I only ask that because in my entire time on this forum there has never been an indication that you currently owned a working dog, so I'm guessing it has been a while. You seem to have spent a good deal of time around the sport and I know from your past comments that you've been involved in training some of your brother's dogs, but I never read about you training any of your own. When you do begin running Lanse's dogs in trials I'm sure a lot of us would like to hear how it goes. I know I would. Best of luck to you and the dogs.

I ran the Amateur at NURC in May 2011 with Nola and Brig....Lanse gave me a dog a few years back AFC Candlewoods She's So Fine but we only had her run a couple of trials and then retired her. Contrary to what some people think they know about me , I am not some kid, I turned 60 earlier this spring..

If you want to read about Lanse's dogs you can always go to my FB page , I have been honest about their continued training and FT careers..

FC/AFC Aleutian Surfbreaker Has some still available from the 70's
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but...
Is anyone planning on using Surfbreaker semen or is there a chance to buy some?
I am very partial to that bloodline.
I had a daughter of Caroway's Aleutian Lundy out of Daisey's Roberta E Lee. She was a wonderful animal. Lundy was whelped in 1996 and (I believe) the last time a litter was registered out of Surfbreaker.

Who are you kidding, we all thought you were older than dirt and make Marvin look like a spring chicken........:D

Just kidding......

I think Aces High still has semen.
