A couple of years ago, I went full force into learning about this sport. I aquired a couple young FT prospects and got on a very strenuous training schedule. I was training 6 days a week, and quickly got burnt out, and found out that this can be a very expensive sport. I got rid of most of my equipment, and both of my dogs. Since then, I have moved to Tallahassee, and have finally settled down(out of the military). I have a yellow lab off of good blood lines that I would like to start training a few times a week. I do not have the time or the money to start another FT type program, but I would like to train enough to play the HT game. I don't mind the work involved, and am always willing to help out. If there is anyone that trains near Tallahassee on a regular basis, that would not mind an extra person every now or then, let me know.

Thanks,
Travis

I am considering moving to Tallahassee as well. The Tallahassee retriever club has regular training grounds so it seems to me that it is worth joining. here is the site, http://www.tallahasseehuntingretrieverclub.com/ . There are also TONS of pros in and around Thomasville that i am sure would let you run your dog if you are willing to throw.

Good luck.
