The Peregrine falcons are nesting again in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Last years nest failed. This year they are now sitting on 4 eggs. Both parents were at the nest site just a few minutes ago.

The first egg hatched this morning. It is hard to see the chick. It was a chilly morning. I had 38 degrees about an hour north of Columbus. The remaining eggs should hatch over the next few days.

Scout is feeding the first chick right now. A shadow makes it somewhat hard to see though.
