I have found out on this forum, most digs at the "off breeds and colors" are in jest......now granted sometimes it gets old, but for the most part everyone loves good dogs and good dog work regardless of color or breed.....

that is what i thought.....however mine does have the dumb bump an her head

I have a Golden that I just put a Master title in Tennessee, their was 67 dogs in our flight ONLY three goldens, one chessie the rest were labs. Of the goldens two passed and titled. Out of the entire master test 11 dogs ran the test COMPLETLEY clean, two of the 11 were goldens. What happened to the OTHER (Labs) dogs? To me it doesn't matter what color, breed, ect. Can the dog do the work! Is this a dog you would want to hunt with. To many people are narrow minded. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box!

If you look really close at my avatar, my boy does too ;) Or at least its a good excuse! :D

I love all (well, almost all) dogs and, as a photographer, I welcome all the goldens, chessies, and other off-breed/off-color dogs that break up the monotony of black at field trials. However, I do have to say that the long waits for wet fluffies to return to the line after a water retrieve gives the gallery a lot of time to think up new digs.;-)

so far lots (not all )throw digs at goldens ,other than the fact that some people are die hard lab and chessie folk....whay is this?
All minority owners hear the digs be it how "swamp collies cann't swim" or "you need to count your fingers when taking a duck from a peake".
It just makes beating all those black dogs that much sweeter!
