Halleluhja!!! We are cooling off to 74 in the AM and a high of 90 tomorrow. We get to go train for the first time in weeks. Supposed to be a whole nice week, so we are gonna get the most out of it. I get to see if all this OB stuff has had any affect on wild man. Pup, meanwhile, gets to try his stuff in the field! Yeayyyyyy, what fun.

I know, high of 88 today, lows in the sixties!! It's like fall out there right now, Dick setting up wingers so we can actually use ducks,
Nine month olds, Evan and Trey are so much fun right now, at that stage where they are learning so fast. Evan lined a 180 yd cold blind last night, terrific momentum, Trey did it with two whistles, so cool to see them put stuff together in the field.
Sick of hot weather, no fun training, never thought I'd think 88 was cool!!!

The first really nice morning in awhile and I had to go to work. I was sitting on the porch right before daylight putting on my boots and wishing I could go train instead of going to work. I'll be setting up the wingers as the sun comes up tomorrow morning though.

Thanks Sherri! We made the most of the borrowed cool! Our training buddy had to back out this morning, so we could not do the set ups I had in mind, but Indy and I went out into the marsh, (well, tidal flats I guess) and set up 3 long blinds, from 150 to about 250 yards. He hasn't run a blind in over a month, but he did great. Only one whistle for all three and that was the first one where he kind of got sucked over to one side. But what was great was NO NOISE or creeping when setting him up. And when I blew that one whistle he stopped and looked at ME instead of everywhere else! I think we were both celebrating the break in the weather. Supposed to heat up again next week:sad:
