Still don't like Favre. Go Vikes.

Farve looked great and so did the Minnesota pass rush! Watched the Chefs play on Sunday.....bet they wish they had #69 back!!

Aaron

Just think what "could" have happened to the game IF Aaron R. had as much time to throw and not running for his life everytime the ball was snapped.
Good Grief!!
And the stupid penalties. Tauting??? and the ones that weren't called ??
Like : Holding on the Vikings like at least 3x.
Did Donald Driver even come out to play??
Rookies ruled last night.

The Pack was not the better team on Monday, that is clear. The rest are just excuses. The Vikes will have a lot more trouble winning in GB but until then the Vikes Win and #4 is a VIKING!!

The Vikes may have won, but I still think the packers did the right thing letting Farve go in order to start Rogers.

Could A 40 year old have taken the beating that Rogers did? Love Farve, favorite player since Elway retired, but both teams are better off with the quarter back they HAVE over the QB they had. Too bad Thompson didn't just let it happen last year, it would have saved a lot of hard feelings.....

Nope not many if any 40 year old QB's could take a beating like Rogers did but Favre could. Maybe you have not seen the first three weeks. Favre was sacked and knocked down by everyone but the PACKERS (even the Browns got to Favre more)!!! We will see if Rogers is even half as durable as Favre. The Packers should figure out how they can get their O-line fixed before Rogers is injured for the season.

Sounds like a fan of the team just beaten, had the Vikings been beaten you would have heard the same complaints.

Packers historically ain't worth a squat at the big inflatable toilet. My guess is that the Vikes will rally behind their new QB and try to help him show the Pack that they made a mistake by letting him go. Hopefully the grey goose doesn't get caught up in it and keeps a level head.

Vikes by 10 (in a show hopefully dominated by a steady dose of AP, Playmaker Percy and the Vikes D).

Mr. Rodgers let me introduce you to Mr. Allen regards -

Travis
Damn, I love when I'm right (which ain't all that often)!!

Rodgers has rug burn regards (and a pretty damn good arm I must admit) -

Nope.
Not really. it was a good game for a Monday nighhter for sure. very entertaining.
Still wish that Aaron Rodgers had as much time to throw as Brett.
I can tell you from watching Brett in the past that IF the pass rush was as demanding, there WOULD have been LOTS of "I" and the game would have ended up different.I really didn't see anything spectacular last night.
he didn't have to scramble out of anything just hang back and wait for his receivers to open up. Big deal.
Look at the stats. Aaron Rodgers had how many yds. passing???
Yes, he had 2 mistakes. 1 fumble and 1 interception.:(
And the runningback for the Vikings ole what's his name ended up with only 82 yds.
Looking forward to Nov. game in the frozen tundra of "Lambeau Field".:p
Brett said he was nervous for last nights game. Just wait.
I for one em glad he's gone.
I got sick of the drama. Is he retiring or not for 2 yrs.:-x
IMHO of coarse.;-)

I think Jared Allen sacked Aaron Rodgers yet again.:cool::cool::cool:

Give it just a little time........yep #69 got him again!!:)

I will take the Hall Of Famer #4, he is way better than the rest of QB's we have.

He didn't need to scramble because there was no reason to what so ever! Will the Packers D-line be that much better on grass, I doubt it.

Stats are great aren't they, I like the W/L stat the best!

As a Packer fan, I find it hard not to cheer for Farve. The man helped the Packers to two Superbowl appearances and numerous playoff births. I am grateful for the time we had him, was angry with Ted Thompson when he let him go, cannot complain about Aaron Rodgers, and I am surprised he still has teeth left after being sacked more times than I care to count. Favre had an average game last night but did what he does best: WIN.

Ted Thompson will continue to lay the Golden egg, except it will be filled with nothing. People complain about the offensive line but Ted decided to let Mark Tauscher go after his ACL tear. After the first four games and over 18 sacks, this is coming back to haunt him. If the Packers are going to resurrect this session, they need to fix the offensive line. Another error on Thompson's part is sending Tony Moll to Baltimore. At least Moll could hold his own on the offensive line. With the injuries to defense, especially at the safety's position, Thompson is probably regretting cutting Anthony Smith after he had a stellar preseason.

If things remain the same, and I am a die hard Packers fan, the Packers will not make the playoffs, and Rodgers will need dentures or a heart transplant by the end of the season.

Mark Tauscher is working out for the Packers as of yesterday, no contract has been signed yet. My guess Mr. Thompson is fighting to keep his job, and by the end of the week, Mr. Tauscher will be a Green Bay Packer again. Tauscher is a veteran on the line and he knows the Packer's offense, I would have been on the phone to him after the second game.

If Tauscher is signed, he should be ready to play by October 1st since it would be 10 months of rehab since his ACL reconstruction. He maybe able to come back right off the bat pending where he is at in rehab. I have rehabbed two ACLs, I was back to playing basketball with one at 8 months and the other one took longer.

The secondary of the Packers is still hurting from injuries and the pass rush is nonexistent. One thing I hate about the new defense is that they drop Aaron Kampman back into coverage, what a waste. Kampman had double digits for sacks last year, he should be rushing the QB.

Alright enough on the Packers. See I can now say I have a life outside of dogs.

Twins Division champs, Vikes 4-0.
Life is good for us Minnesota fans.
