I have been using white electric fence post in place of stickmen does this work or not?

I've not used them in place of stickmen but I do use them in the initial phases of lining drills. I think your cheapest route might be to hang a old t-shirt on the post to indicate a gunner.

It works for me! I train alone so I put out 2 posts and slip a long-sleeve shirt over the two of them. I put out 3 or 4 like this with my Bumper Boys shooting behind.

"Work" in what way? Do they closely resemble a human form like real stickmen do?

I have used them with a clothes hanger and a white shirt. also used the stake as a blind stake.

I use human shaped cut outs painted white.
