Been looking around for a weatherproof outdoor fan for my dogs kennel. Does anyone know where to locate one? Im guessing it would have to have a sealed motor
Ya I like this one and it has a sealed motor. http://www.farmtek.com/farm/supplies/prod1;ft_cooling_fans-ft_portable_fans;pg105527.html Plus you and I both know how hot the summers are here in Texas. Im using a regular fan now and forget it outside sometimes when it actually does rain.Farmtek
That's where I got all of mine and they sell every size fan up to like a 30' +
Wouldnt you have to have a converter to go from 24v dc to 120?Dayton is a good resource. I'm eyeballing this one also as it has a smaller spread and is reversible.

Yes, 12 or 24v would have to be converted to 120 to use a wall outlet. Do you use this type now? If so what are you using to convert the power supply? For this?

These are what I'm running over my runs. East to install and move a good amount of air. Most of the time I'm running them just to keep mosquitos off at night. Had them in operation about 2 years almost with no problems.Ya I like this one and it has a sealed motor. http://www.farmtek.com/farm/supplies/prod1;ft_cooling_fans-ft_portable_fans;pg105527.html Plus you and I both know how hot the summers are here in Texas. My bad Tony, I took outdoor kennel and sealed motor as a truck box application.Yes, 12 or 24v would have to be converted to 120 to use a wall outlet. Do you use this type now? If so what are you using to convert the power supply?
No biggie, I think we both where confused. On the flip side I think the model you had would work great for a truck box. Let me know how it works if you get it.My bad Tony, I took outdoor kennel and sealed motor as a truck box application.
