when you turn it on it blinks green and then goes straight to blinking red. its like it does not have the power to set the launcher all the way off. charged over night, any ideas? little over a year old.

CJ,
The RR Deluxe launchers use an older style battery in them (the new e-collars have a different one), which can wear out sooner than expected. I just had mine replaced by Dogtra, at their cost. I only had to pay the shipping, one way, to have them worked on.
My dogtra electronics were just errantly making noise and triggering wingers to go off... I sent back to dogtra for 20 bucks as I added insurance to my flat rate box. Dogtra called back and said it would be 150 bucks to replace all the batteries and an antenna. These electronics have been lightly used and were charged frequently, I'm not very happy and if this doesn't fix the issues I was having, I will make my unhappiness more publicly known.
If it is not under warranty and you plan on replacing the battery yourself, before buying a battery try taking it apart, cleaning the pins in the connectors, I used WD-40 and a q-tip put it back together making sure the connectors are pushed down all the way. I had a Dogtra collar that would flash maroon after being off the charger for only a couple of hours. This helped it last a couple of days now as it should.
both RR deluxe receivers were charged over night for 14 hours. one blinks red the other blinks green. The red one I sent to dogtra and they said nothing was wrong with it. it is connected cause the beep/duck works fine. it wont set off a launcher and wont blink green? any ideas?
I've heard some people plug the charger into the wrong port sometimes and think it's charging but it's not. Just a suggestion.
