Emberain Beau Geste Temperment & Personality?

I'm looking at adding a new golden pup to the household in the next 6-12 months and know of a few breeding's that may occur that are using frozen semen from Beau. While all Golden lovers are very familiar with Beaus performance in the field I was hoping to get an idea of what he was like on a day to day basis.. What was his temperament/personality? Did he have a good off switch? Did he get along well with kids and other male dogs? ETC???
