What can folks share about Tiger's offspring?

Drive, able to handle pressure, vocal, / etc....

Also, why has he not titled? Is he no longer running trials??

Thanks

Randy

I had a Tiger grandson (by Deuce) and I have a Tiger daughter now. They both have (had) incredible drive, to the point you have to rein it in. They have both been vocal. The grandson was hardest because I didn't get on it until later. The daughter I've gotten right after and it's cleaning up very nicely. Both dogs, the trigger seems to be honoring or even just working/retrieving with another dog there. The grandson was awesome, he didn't need a lot of pressure. But he wasn't soft either. The daughter is a ball of fire and it takes a couple times to get things through to her. She can handle pressure very very well. Not what I would call hard but bounces back, doesn't hold a grudge or sulk, nothing like that. Both are incredibly intelligent too, pick up on things really quickly, easy to train, run hard. Good in the house and settle when needed to. I've been very impressed with the line.

I love my Tiger son. His dam is a Rudy daughter.
Takes pressure well- but doesnt need it very often. What he needs-it is hot -high pain threshold. No vocalization with pressure. or otherwise.
Team Player-
Good marker
He is very GOOFY - serious about his work but otherwise, very very much a goofy pup.(he will be three this month)
Very good temperement-never hackles up with other dogs, never growls- not macho.(he is intact)
Very bad in a kennel or with a fence in front of him. Very bad pacer- to the point ,he will make his feet sore. Ive heard this is a trait seen in some of Tigers' kids.
He is very good in the house. Loves to sleep on the bed.
And hes very nice to look at too.:)
Should I say any more? I love him! Hopefully he gets his last Sr leg next weekend and will run right into master next month.
I ,too would like to know more about Tigers traits-

The owner should say why he hasn't titled .
I'm not the owner but they are my very good friends, it's fairly simple really, he isn't titled because he never won an Open. He is 11 years old, his last year of competition was 2003 when he had 18 Open starts with one 4th place, his lifetime total is 7 Open All-Age points.

just because he isnt titled doesnt mean he doesnt throw great dogs...remember Super Powder..one of the greatest sires of all time that wasnt titled

my brother has a dog out of Esprits out of the Woods x Watermarks Penny Lane...Kate is currently being campaigned as his schedule permits

Drive, Drive, Drive. That's what Merlin has. He can handle pressure and he can run under pressure day after day after day. Keith puts it he has a lot of low end. As he explained to me he can handle the pressure of a week long test like the HRC Grand. Upland birds, he is fantastic.

As I understand Tiger has all the points required but lacked the win for the FC. I do not know why they quit campaigning him.

I have a Tiger grandaughter.11mo. Super drive, excellent marking, not vocal at all. She is really goofy but gets real intense when it is time to retrieve. She handles pressure well, does not require that much though. She is a Tiger/Lean Mac cross so I am really surprised she is not vocal. But I can tell you she got the drive of both sides,,intense and increasing everyday.

Same here with my partner out of Tiger. Lot of drive, runs hard, Pin point marking, learns quick, remember concepts forever. A lot of the other posts describes him. Got his first master pass last April, Titled in September. Has 8 passes now. Working toward '08 MN. Hunted hard this past winter, outstanding hunting dog.

My pro just got a little bitch in training who is by Tiger. She is an absolute sweetheart. I got to run her in training recently and she's fast, intense, smart, a superb marker, oh and did I mention fast? FAST!! She could come home with me in a nanosecond. Course, I'd have to knit her some little leggings with golden "feathering" and put some extenders on her tail so she'd feel like one of the family. She JAMMED the Qual this weekend, too.
