This is for you folks that spend 15-25 weekends a year at dog events, the remaining weekends training, thousands of dollars chasing a $2 ribbon, and are consumed by this sport which is more of an obsession than a hobby....
My wife asked me the other day what i would do for fun if i didn't do this. I used to play golf a lot and still go out from time to time. I play softball in the summer and also hunt in the winter. I also like racquetball, but none of those could replace dogs.
My answer was, i have no idea what i would do with myself or my time if i wasn't consumed by this sport. But like most guys - i would have to replace this obsession with another one. What would yours be???
Every time i run a trial at the spillway, i leave there wanting a remote control airplane... that could be a cool hobby. Looks expensive and you get to buy a trailer to tote your stuff.
