If it is anything like Katrina, no one will be able to answer you. No computers, limited phones, some texting. A lot of us down south had not power for weeks to months. Hope they dry up faster than New Orleans did.
I'v got a lot of family and some good friends on the coast of NC. They all did pretty well considering. But in the Greenville area a river is sup to crest yesterday or today. Wising them luck almost 20 yrs ago that area flooded real bad.
Flooding is also quite bad along the Black and Lumber Rivers which are in the southern part of the state (including Fayetteville and Lumberton). One river around Kinston did not peak until today. Another area reported it would be 10/26 before one river would reach non-flood elevations.
