Just need to know if I need to be worried about this.

For the past couple weeks my nine month old has been snorting when breathing heavy. It was first noticed while doing some upland work, not noticed much as she went through force fetch (no real excitement for the dog) but I have been noticing it in the house while she is playing with the kids since bringing her home from the trainer. and on some of the happy bumpers I have thown pre and post FTP work. No other dogs in the kennel she was at are showing it.

Took her to the vet yesterday, chest film nothing, normal temp, nothing felt or seen in throat, not swelling or anything in the back of the throat, in short nothing that the vet saw. no trouble eating/drinking, no snoring while asleep.

Any suggestions and should i be worried. I know a couple adult dogs that do the same, seems to not botherthem much but it is annoying to hear her chase after my daughter snorting int he house.

Is it like this:

I have a friend who's a vet that frequently will pull up youtube videos of various dog symptoms to try and get the owner to help nail down what's going on.

I don't have any magic answers for "reverse sneeze" but if this is what it is, it can be a pretty harmless thing. One way to stop it is supposedly to squeeze the dog's nostrils shut for a few seconds.

Nothing near that dramatic as far as how it seems to affect the dogs in the videos. She does not slow down while she is running at all, actually sounds a little more like a snore and she seems oblivious to what is happening. It is with virtually every breath she takes though while she is breathing hard.

That is along the lines I was starting to think...... runs very hard in the upland.
