:shock::shock:16"!!!!

Keep it! That is what is prolly blowing in over here right now. How much corn do you guys still have in the fields yet? I was watching corn falling over in the wind this morning. Still have a lot left to be harvested......

Roger....................you stink!
It sucked watching flock after flock of ducks and geese heading south knowing that none of the gravel roads will be touched for a few days and there are probably some massive snow drifts making it impossible to get out and hunt the fields. I think the corn harvest is about 90% complete.

Tylertown, MS--100 miles North of New Orleans--100 miles South of Jackson, MS, we got 2 inches of wet heavy snow--30 degrees. I woke up and thought Cleo had thrown grits all over the ground.

It is gone now, wheee, we can whiz all over the ground again! Bill

Nancy, you are much to nice to him. I would have said something stronger.

Still waiting for the plow to come by. Although we only got about 6-7 inches, it is still blowing like a son of a gun. Snowblower tosses it out and the wind fills it back up.
Is that like spitting into the wind?

I woke up to snow drifted in front of all the doors about three feet deep...thought I may have to pop a window to get outside, but a few pushes got a narrow opening and I squeezed out to the shovel. ;-)
I'm guessing we got about 16"...but it's hard to tell for sure, since my 1/4 mile driveway has drifts across that come up to the hood of my truck. :D
Sadly, my Ranger XP with the plow isn't up to quite this much snow, so actually have to have somebody come and clear the worst of it. Gotta love winter in Wisconsin!

the snow closed interstate 40 just west of Flagstaff..of course I was on I40 so all the trucks and I sat on the interstate from 3:30 am till 6:30 am. I had to dig out my duck hunting bibs and parka to keep from freezing my behind off..after the highway patrol led us for about 5 miles at a snails pace, single file, just got into Albuquerque about an or ago, will get a good night sleep before heading to Bonham Tx for the RRiver FT...whose idea was it to pick up the dogs this week...oh it was mine..go figure

Here in central Iowa the dogs just peed on the deck and played in the yard. I have to scoop the deck tomorrow, they thought it was the yard I think??? It took a good part of the day just to scoop the driveway!!!

12 inches of snow here with 30mph wind yesterday. Tonight it is dropping to 10 below zero, not looking for a parking lot to train! Shot some pheasants today! Gotta love the snow days!

Blowing snow stinks regards,

Aaron

Yea, probably sweating from the 80 degree weather we are having here. Going to sit out by the pool to get some rays today, need to keep my tan up. Anyone coming down for the Treasure Coast D/Q?

Well the “official” word for Green Bay was 14.6” but I think it was quite a bit more on the far east side of town. We didn’t get plowed out until late last night and lost power for a little bit. Little Scrub liked it though! He is 60 lbs at 5.5 months and it was deep for him. It was quite the snow for his first snow!
