The sun has set.

Its 2 degrees here.

With the wind chill, its -8 deg.

Tonight's low is supposed to be -5. So with a wind chill, it will be -15 or so.

And my box of tea bags is missing the staple to keep the string attached to the paper thingy.......

This sucks.

I'm glad I bit the bullet and had my beautiful Fat Albert blue spruce (too close to the chimney and roof in recent years) removed this past spring. The fireplace is blazing for the first time in years and the pot of spicy chili I made yesterday afternoon is every bit as good as leftovers today. Life is good but a couple of the dogs were driving me nuts today-- way too cold to train. One more day of this the way it looks.

As for your tea bags-- why not try your own staple???

Why on earth would I WANT to staple my own tea bags?? For the price you pay for a box of tea bags one would expect it to come with a box of STAPLES!!

I'm plenty warm in the house...heat pump does a great job....but I have puppies to air (and of course they are immune to the fact its freaking arse cold outside) and I have to go round them up after a few minutes. Then I have to check on the other dogs and the pump house heater......

This sucks.

We trained at Cooper Black in Cheraw, SC today. It was about 80, just enough clouds to keep it comfortable, and just plain gorgeous. I know it won't last, but somehow I think SC was glad to have me back and showed it!

Some times I hate myself I'm that lucky and happy.


Payback will be working on Black Friday 4:30am-1:30pm. It takes me 45 minutes to get to work so I leave an hour before I start. I work at Cabelas, it won't be a good day. :lol:
And I know this weather won't last.... but ohh how I wish it would (even if it screws up how the geese fly so I don't see crap all day).
