my 1 year old blm will climb into an empty dryer and take a nap with his head hanging out the door... he also will steal the blankets off of my bed and drag them into his kennel and fall asleep on them, but best of all we can sit down on the couch together and watch tv he loves NCIS. the minute it comes on he will get on the couch and just watch. :) love my pup

My husband's black Lab, Raven, likes to do head stands in your lap. Started as a pup but at age 9 he still likes to give it a try.

He plants his head in my husband's lap, and swings his butt up in the air so his tail is above my husband's head! He knows better than to try it on me, but he will try it on guests if I don't watch him.

My chocolate male, Muddy, will "catch" kisses I blow to him--silly but oh so cute!

Chester is a stuffie- sucker. His evening routine is to grab one of his two favorite stuffed toys (a smurf or a bunny) out of the toy-box, flop down on his dog bed, and suck it for about half an hour. Then he spits it out and goes to bed. Of course the slimy critter then needs to be saved from the rest of the gang who would love nothing more than to dissect it....
Erin .. My heart dog that passed last year had a “Wooby” it was a blanket he carried around with him LITERALLY from 9 weeks until the day he crossed the bridge laying in my lap with it.

He nursed on that blanket every day of his life that it was available to him...

I cremated him with 1/2 of the blanket... after 11.5 years it had torn in two and I selfishly held on to a part of it.

This is a photo of him in a hotel room ... he had to part with his wooby for a few months when he stayed with Pat Nolan. I brought it with me when i picked him up to take him home .. he was more happy to see the blanket than me ;)

Momma dog is a talker, especially when we get to the motel room for a hunt test. She jumps on the bed, rub her head and ears on the mattress and makes all kinds of noises. Dani sucks on her pillow whenever she can. She doesn't chew or tear holes. Dani and Aidan both LOVE the vacuum cleaner. They lay down in front of it and won't move out of my way unless I make them. I can vacuum all around them. :D

Oh gosh, some of these remind me of other things...

Raven squints when she has been bad and you are yelling at her. she looks up, curls her lip just slightly and squints...

And Pete like to take bowls and dishes he gets to lick in his crate...like one time he picked up the turkey roasting pan and manuvered it in his crate! It barely fit in the door!

I swear my girl Jettie has a watch on her somewhere. We can be sitting out on the patio and she'll come up to me or mostly the wife and sit and stare, if she gets no response she places a paw in your lap, you can check your watch and it's 6:30 on the dot every time, and she's ready to eat. Even my wife's friend asked "how does that dog know what time it is?"
She also howls at the firetruck siren, not the police or ambulance just firetrucks, and since the station is about 1/2 mile from the house she gets lots of practice.

Multiple times when out pheasant hunting if I miss a bird my dog will bring back the wad. I always think she is on another bird but no...it is's the wad. Also when we are done duck hunting and picking up decoys she will hunt down every shell casing. She never bothers them until we are done. Pretty weird....but pretty nice!

My outlaw likes five gallon buckets. He will carry them around, flip them up and catch them. Funny to see on a dark night in the backyard a white bucket flying across the yard because you can't see the black dog carrying it.

My 4-year-old Chessie tries to get the others to scratch his butt. When they are sitting, he walks back and forth and positions his butt so it sweeps under their chins, for a butt scratch. It's hilarious!

I think blowing bubbles in my fishing hole qualifies as weird!!!

The first time we took Ruger ice fishing, I brought him a big juicy bone so that he would have some entertainment. Naturally, as soon as the hole has been set he immediately dropped his bone down into the water. He spent the next several hours blowing bubbles in the hole (or sniffing for his bone, lol?) Neat to see another dog do that.

i cant put my boy outside for a minute without him jumping on the downspout of our gutters n tryn to run off with it. done it since he was eight weeks old. my wife cant come in the laundry room without him running up to her and goosing her right in the a--. she hates it n i think its down right hilarious.
