Am I seeing things or is Lardy not at the National. Is he just doing pre national training and having the clients run? Is he healthy? Anyone know?

Mike is fine. Mike has a lot of experienced clients who run their own dogs at FTs and Nationals. I don't know if they did it this year, but I know in the past, if Ray qualified the dog for the National, he got to run them, etc.

Ray is a really good handler, Too, BTW.

It would probably be HIM, however, his amateur didn't edit the handlers on the electronic entry form.

I could have sworn I seen his name on the qualifiers list a day or two before the nationals but I have yet to find his name on there since it started.

Thus far, the political debate between Kippy Kemp and Mike Lardy on Saturday afternoon has been the high point of my National experience. Mike is very witty and sharp as a tack, and Kippy is the funniest good ol boy you'll ever meet. It was classic.

That is funny. I bet it was a hoot! I have only talked to Kip a couple times on the phone but, having a cowboy friend of mine that he reminded me exactly of, I can only imagine...
