The search function doesn't seem to be working today. So i need to know where and what kind of tubing to replace the rubbers on my winger ASAP,
Is it the latex tubing and what diameter to get. I hope i can find it at one of the rubber supply companys in my area. I don't have time to mail order. Thanks in advance.

I use the silver theraband. Seems to work well. I have heard some downside in really cold temperatures, but I don't know if it's true.

It's true, doesn't work well below freezing.

I think it'd be really interesting to do a side by side experiment w/ the various products. Put one product in one winger, another in the other. See if they hold up as long as the GDS.... because I'm usually looking for bargains, but to be honest, it's a pita to restring mine more often than I have to! :p

Just a thought, why not go right to the source?

That said the theraband silver holds up as well as anything I have used. Now we don't freeze very often so I can't speak to the cold issue with it, but I would guess most rubber gets a little "funny" below freezing.
Also regardless of what kind you use keep them out of the sunlight (not when using them of course) but don't leave them in the back of an open truck or trailer or store them outside because the sun shorten the life of most rubber of this type
