I had made a notation in my Outlook calendar to be reminded this year that I need to take the written exam again.

Does the AKC automatically send out the written test when it is time to retake the test? Does anyone know who I would need to contact to obtain the test? I've called Lisa at AKC and left a message, but thought I would check here to see if anyone who has recently taken the test has the contact info.

I just took the FT test. Called AKC performance events. Left Tanya a message, she called back the next day. I had the test within 4 days.
Took about 2-3 weeks to hear back after I sent in my answers. Tanya called with the test results. It was a pleasant experience.
I assume the protocol is the same for HT & FT, all under performance events.

Just to be clear, the protocol for obtaining testing material may be the same, but once approved as a field trial judge there is no requirement of followup test, you only need to pass it once. I guess hunt test are different in that regard.

Do you have a better email? I have tried this two times, and I keep getting a return rejection, saying that it does not exist (and also adding huberray.akc.org to the email, instead of akc.org)

Or a phone number. I have left two messages within the past two weeks without a return phone call, but not sure I have correct phone number. The voicemail says AKC performance events though...

Just called the number given for Tonya. She stated in her voice mail announcement that she is limited on time with the Performance events as she is now split between 2 departments. The recording said the best time to reach her is between 8:15 - 9:45 a.m. EST. or to email her at tbr@akc.org
